Hurricane Katrina
Prayer and Reflection Room

Katrina Help.com is a non-denominational website. Everyone is welcome.

This room is for prayer and reflection.

Please take a few minutes to remember and honor those we have lost...

and to pray for everyone who has been affected in some way by Hurricane Katrina.

Let us pray...

Lord Jesus Christ, we pray for all of the angels who we lost in the hurricane, but we are greatly comforted knowing that they are in Heaven with you.

We miss them; we love them; and we will never forget them.

We honor them, Lord.

We deeply hurt because they are no longer with us physically, but Lord we know that they are with us spiritually.

They are still here in so many ways -- We can feel their love.

Lord Jesus Christ, let their angel wings carry them high in Heaven, for they are now with you in your Kingdom.

And we know that these precious angels will always have a special place in Heaven.

Lord, we pray for all of the precious Hurricane Katrina survivors.

They are very special people.and they are angels here on earth.

They are angels among us, and we honor them, Lord.

Please comfort them.

Give them hope. And help them in every way. Give them all that they need.

Give them peace.

Lord, we pray for all those who have lost loved ones.

Their pain is great because their love is great.

Lord, let them understand that the great pain that they feel is from the great love that they have for their loved ones who are now in Heaven.

Lord Jesus Christ, comfort them.

They need you now more that ever.

Lord, provide these angels on earth with all that they need.

Let your love shine down on them.

Walk with them. With every step they take...walk with them.

Lord, we pray for all those who lost their homes and possessions in the hurricane.

They are hurting and they need your love.

Guide them, Lord Jesus. Let them recover quickly from their losses. For they are angels.

Lord, we pray for all those who have been affected in any way by Hurricane Katrina.

Comfort everyone who is pain and give them hope.

Shower them with your love, Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord, we are all brothers and sisters on this planet.

And we all in pain because our precious brothers and sisters who survived Hurricane Katrina are in pain.

We are one, Lord Jesus Christ.united with each other, and united with you.

Lord, please continue to help each of our brothers and sisters who are in pain.

Let them know that you are with them 24 hours a day, walking with them, comforting them, giving them guidance, giving them hope, giving them peace.

Let them feel your presence, Lord, for they need you.

Lord, there is always hope through you.

And Lord, there always is peace through you.

Give the precious hurricane survivors hope and peace.

Lord, please let all of our brothers and sisters who are in pain heal.help them heal in every way.

Lord, we praise you.

And we honor those who have died in the hurricane, and we honor those who survived.

Help us all, Lord Jesus Christ, to help all of the survivors in every way possible.

Amen.

Now, please take a moment and say your own prayer for all of those who are suffering in some way because of the hurricane...

..........

..........

..........

Amen.

Please return to the Prayer and Reflection Room often and continue to pray for those in need.

And please continue to pray on your own.

There is great power in prayer.

And praying is another important way that we can help our brothers and sisters who are hurting because of the hurricane.

God bless you.

I love you,
